Why is my fish tank so cloudy?
I bought a Juwel Korrel 60Litre fish tank, i have set everything up as normal, i washed everything in the tank thoroughly before adding it to the tank. it consists of black gravel stones, a hippo skull purchased from the pet shop, a 50 watt heater and a juwel bioflow mini filter. im getting tropical fish which means the tank has to be at a certain temprature, which it now is, i set it up on sunday 2nd january and it was clear as day, but since monday night it started getting cloudy and i thought this was normal and would clear up in time, but 4 days later it still cloudy and now even worse that you cant see to the otherside. could some one please help me with any suggestions?

i forgot to mention, i havent got any fish in the tank as i havent had it set up long enough. and i also added a stress coat +
Hi All new tank go through what is called an ammonia, nitrate & nitrite cycle. It sounds to me like that is what your tank is doing. That can take any where from 1 week to 8 weeks. Get yourself a test kit. When the ammonia, nitrate & nitrite levels read 0 then and only then is it safe to add fish.
