Algae is stuck on tank decor.?
Okay, so I’ve had some fishtank decor or whatever they’re called. I’ve just got a new egyptian set for my tank. So the old stuff is now sitting in a box in my closet.
The problem is, is that all the older decorations is covered in dried algae. I’ve tried putting it in a tub of water and adding algae-b-gone stuff but it didn’t work. And I can’t scrub it off because there is alot of little corners and it’s just hard to get it off.
Does anyone have any products or ways to recommend for me to get the algae off? I plan to use to decorations again as soon as I move. The decor has been out of the tank for about 6-14 months. Thanks for the help.
Put it in bleach for about twenty minutes then put it in a tub with soap and water for 5 minutes then wash it off with lots of water for about 5 minutes.
